IC-SIM History

The 1st Conference on Marketing and Management Sciences (IC-MMS) was held at Athens, Greece during 23-25 May, 2008. IC-MMS received a great number of papers, from which only 120 were accepted and published in Imperial College Press. All papers accepted for presentation went through a double blind review process. Several symposia were developed in recognized conferences worldwide. These actions resulted in a wealth of scientific publications in some of the most famous publication houses (Trans Tech Publications, Emerald, Elsevier). This rapid development gave the impetus for the organization of a scientific conference, with a special focus in the field of Marketing. IC-SIM 2013 has been developed in order to serve one purpose: to cover the gap between theory and practice, by laying emphasis on the strategic approach of Marketing and Management issues.
